The New Zealand pine, grown in a warm climate, features a thick trunk, a firm core, and a uniformly arranged, elongated wood grain pattern, with particularly knot-free solid pieces being highly valued as premium materials. The color of the wood is characterized by a light brown heartwood and a pale yellow-white sapwood, which contributes to its popularity due to its exquisite transparency and beauty.
